RYAN GARCIA STOPS CONOR BENN IN LAS VEGAS

LAS VEGAS — Ryan Garcia defeated Conor Benn by second-round knockout in their September 12 world-title fight in Las Vegas, retaining his WBC welterweight championship. The result came after a fast start from Garcia, who ended the contest in the second round.

The fight was one of the major boxing events of September and immediately put Garcia back at the centre of the international boxing conversation.
