GEORGE CLOONEY RECEIVES VENICE’S GOLDEN LION

VENICE — George Clooney has received the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

The award recognises his career as an actor, director and producer. Clooney also opened the festival with Danny Boyle’s Ink, where he appeared alongside the film’s cast at the opening ceremony.
